Set within a compact space of 300 sq ft, the GAP kiosk was executed as a complete turnkey project, with Trivana Designs managing everything from the structure and glasswork to lighting, fixtures, interiors, and final finishes, right from the ground up.

When GAP planned its kiosk at Cyber City, Gurugram, which is one of India’s most tightly regulated commercial hubs, time was the single most critical variable. To deliver a fully functional retail space within strict operational constraints not only demands the right expertise but also operational agility. This is where Trivana Designs stepped in.

Set within a compact space of 300 sq ft, the GAP kiosk was a complete turnkey project. “From exterior structuring and glasswork to interior lighting, fixtures, wooden work, and finishing, we handled the entire execution from scratch,” shares Charanjeet Singh, Partner of Trivana Designs. Despite the small-format store, the project demanded a fast turnaround and high precision.

Working within strict regulations

What made the project especially challenging was the working environment at DLF Cyber City. Due to stringent regulations, all on-site work was permitted only during night hours. Permissions typically began around 8–9 PM, leaving a narrow window to execute tasks that would normally take days.

“Our team was working round the clock for nearly seven straight days,” says Charanjeet. “In places like DLF, daytime work is not allowed, so everything, from fabrication to installation, had to happen overnight. But it was clear in our heads that the client’s store had to open on time, without any compromises.”

Beating the clock during a peak selling season

The urgency of the project was heightened by seasonality. With winter approaching and GAP’s peak selling period around the corner, delays were not an option. Trivana Designs aligned its resources accordingly, be it fast-tracking material procurement, accelerating fabrication, or making real-time decisions on-site to accommodate last-minute changes.

Behind the scenes, Trivana’s in-house manufacturing capabilities played a key role. The team leveraged their advanced machinery, which has the capacity to cut six-metre-long pipes in a single run. This reduced fabrication time and ensured consistency, especially for heavy-duty structural elements used in the kiosk.

Quality without compromise

Quality, however, was never sacrificed for speed. From powder coating and welding to wooden finishes and lighting installations, every detail was executed to retail-grade standards.

Reflecting on the experience of this project, Charanjeet shares, “Every project teaches you something, but this one was a real learning curve in terms of timelines and compliance. Working under strict rules pushes you to be sharper, faster, and more decisive.”
