Brand U.S. Polo Assn. has unveiled a new window display that brings alive the vibe of a polo match, while capturing the brand’s sporting heritage.    


In a classic example of immersive window displays narrating the brand ethos, brand U.S. Polo Assn. has unveiled a new window display that brings alive the spirit of polo sport.

Combining the feel of a live polo match setting with the core elements of the polo culture that is part of the brand DNA, the window is a nod to its sporting heritage and classic American style. The display also spotlights the global brand ambassador, H H Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur (Pacho).

Bringing alive a polo match

The display recreates an experiential environment that mirrors the sidelines of a championship polo game. With a tasteful canopy draped in striped curtains, the scene shows spectators comfortably seated, taking in the match. On one side, a mannequin dressed in sporty neutrals with a polo helmet in hand represents the calm and relaxed elegance of polo enthusiast. On the opposite end, another mannequin showcases post-match leisurewear—relaxed yet refined. The polo trophy resting in the foreground conveys a subtle but strong statement of victory and prestige. The basic idea was for the ensemble to collectively narrate the journey, from the game’s intense progress to the cool elegance of post-match celebration.

The VM vision

Speaking about the window concept, Akanksha Waleski, VM Head - India, US Polo Assn., shares, “My vision was to create more than a display—it was to tell a story. I wanted the audience to feel as if they were right there on the polo ground, soaking in the game, the atmosphere, and the quiet glamour that follows a win. The canopy setup, the trophy, and the overall mood are all designed to evoke that world.”

The royal aura

In the center, a dynamic life-size visual of HH Maharaja Padmanabh Singh (Pacho) on horseback commands attention. As Akanksha says, “The Maharaja, a professional polo player and style icon, represents the seamless blend of tradition and modernity that defines the U.S. Polo Assn. brand. His presence, while adding aspirational value to the display, also reinforces the sport’s elite roots and global appeal.”

By building a scene rather than simply showcasing product, the window display evokes and captures the brand narrative, one that resonates with aspirational living and timeless fashion.
As Akanksha sums up, “This isn’t just a window; it’s a lifestyle vignette. The carefully chosen elements—from the director’s chair and wooden trunk to the palette of earthy tones—echo the understated luxury of polo culture. The apparel featured in the display complements this vibe with its relaxed tailoring, breathable fabrics, and refined details—perfect for both the game and the moments after.”
