B’lore brand BREA opens first live bakery at airport

The local brand has been repacked and repositioned in the form of a swanky live bakery to target global audiences and travellers passing through the Bengaluru Airport.
Bengaluru-based bakery brand BREA has recently opened its first live bakery at Kempegowda International Airport with the idea of taking the brand presence to a global audience.
Bengaluru-based shopper marketing agency Brandvak has created their brand story and exclusive packaging. “The entire design language of the store is to connect with the Organic Design Language of the Airport Terminal Facade and also taking into consideration the forms and layers of Baking,” Bijitesh Mallik, Founder & CEO of BrandVak told Retail4Growth.
Travellers can witness baking at the brand’s very first live bakery and also enjoy brand’s newly launched ‘BREA Roti’ and other authentic Bangalore cookies at the BREA outlet in KIAL.
Started by the brother duo, Dianath and Mothasim Arshad in 2014 under the parent company name Renowned Foods, the company aims to take the consumer back to roots with authentic baking and introduce them to the concept of healthy baking.
According to a report, in a span of almost 5 years, BREA has clocked in Rs 5 crore turnover and has retail presence across 250 outlets in Bengaluru. It is now aiming to reach 500 outlets by the end of the 2020. BREA also has kiosks in other parts of Bengaluru including Commercial Street, Banaswadi, Yamlur, Yelahanka, Sadashivnagar and CV Raman Nagar.
