Kalyan Jewellers invest Rs 60 crore for its new Bhubaneswar outlet

Kalyan Jewellers announced its foray into Eastern India for the first time with its inaugural showroom in Odisha, Bhubaneswar to be launched on June 5, 2015. With an investment of Rs 60 crore, the two-storey showroom is spread across 15,000 sq.ft and located at Shahid Nagar. The showroom will offer over two lakh contemporary and traditional gold and diamond designs curated by some of the best artisans from across the country.
 
Speaking on the occasion, T.S. Kalyanaraman, Chairman and Managing Director said, "We are delighted to enter Odisha given its rich cultural heritage and festive spirit. Kalyan will offer a compelling shopping experience by offering fine and intricately crafted jewellery to cater to the distinct needs of customers in Odisha.”
 
Kalyan Jewellers shared that it is making significant investments into Odisha and the Eastern region to strengthen its national presence.

"Bhubaneswar offers tremendous potential as the gateway into the Eastern market and we want to lay a strong foundation for growth. The Bhubaneswar showroom will provide an eclectic mix of trendy, contemporary and traditional designs in keeping with the nuanced requirements of jewellery connoisseurs in the city. The company plans to have four showrooms by the end of the year in the Eastern region including presence in Kolkata,”Kalyanaraman added.
