Nitrogen opens its first outlet outside Mumbai; to open 10 outlets in Gujarat

Nitrogen, the apparel store chain from D’costa Textiles Mumbai, has opened its first store outside Mumbai in Surat, Gujarat. D’costa already has 6 stores in Mumbai and they will soon be re-branded as Nitrogen. The chain has also revealed its plan to open 10 stores in Gujarat in the next one and half years. The Surat store, spanned across 1000 sq ft and situated at Surat’s Canapes Mall, has been designed by Designscope, a design firm based in Surat.

Tejas Shah, Director, Nitrogen, told Retail4growth, “The 35 years old D’costa Textiles already has 6 stores in Mumbai that are running successfully. These stores will soon be re-branded as Nitrogen stores and will be revamped. We plan to expand our footprints in Gujarat aggressively. While we’ll shortly open two more stores in the city itself, we are planning to open 10 more stores in cities like Baroda, Ahmedabad etc within next 1.5 years.”
