Eira launches flagship store in Kolkata

After establishing the brand name in their home town, they wish to expand the store presence in cities like Jaipur, Delhi and Mumbai in next couple of years.

Eira, the couture label recently opened their flagship store in Kolkata. Conceptualised and designed in the city of joy, the fashion capital of West Bengal, it is sprawled over 3000 sq. ft. area and EIRA can be the perfect wedding destination for every bride. Manufactured with the highest quality fabrics, one may experience the collection by coming at this showroom, situated close to the Heart of the city at Topsia, in the eastern fringe of Kolkata.

The interior of the store has been designed by keeping in mind the elegance of a bride as well as the embellishments which exudes her charm. The studio of EIRA stand for the women with their own unique style and individuality having a look and feel which would give the modern brides the shopping experience that they are looking for while selecting their best outfit for the D-day. “It is for all who desire exquisite adornments that reflect a timeless vintage glamour and couture detailing but with a contemporary edge”, shares Anil Sonthalia, Director, EIRA, in a chat with Retail4growth. The store has been executed by interior designer Harshita Poddar along with the Eira team. The space is divided into two segments, one is the anti-chamber for the bridal wear only and the outer space is for the pret collection. Being ideally located in the upcoming business street of the city, the brand wishes to tap a large client base not only from the city but also outside Kolkata. Further while expanding the store they will follow the same retail design concept and will look for high-streets rather than going for any malls which help them create a niche market for Eira.

Anil also informs, “We are into the B2B Retail business with the similar merchandise for over 10 years and have been supplying bridal apparels to all top brands across the country. This experience prompted us to come into the B2C segment with our own couture brand Eira.” As the Indian wedding industry is huge, they are really optimistic about the high growth of this segment more in the near future. “Kolkata is a huge market and we have clients even from different parts of the country. Our creations are unique, beautiful and exclusive that caters to the women with a discerning eye for style and wonderful fabrics. It’s not even a month and we have got an over whelming response. Our clients have travelled due from Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Raipur, Rourkela, Bangladesh and even UK”, mentioned Anil.

The brand has an exquisite collection of Suits, Sarees, Gowns, Light and Heavy Lehengas, Long dresses as part of EIRA’s collection. Having a complete in-house deigning team they can customize any requirement for bridal sets. “At EIRA, dresses are handmade at the heart of our studio.
