The objective of the store design was to make the space welcoming for all class of people and to add the charming Nawabi flavour of the city to the store.
Leading men’s retailer PN Rao has recently opened its first store in Hyderabad. Spread across 3500 sqft area of the ground floor of the building, the store is designed by Bangalore-based Viridis Architecture. The objective of the store design was to make the store welcoming for all class of people and to add the famous Nawabi flavour of Hyderabad to the store.
Talking further about the new store, Naveen Pishe, MD, PN Rao said, “We wanted a store that would invite everybody and where once the customer walks in he should feel privileged. With this new store we are positioning PN Rao as an affordable luxury brand. Plus, we have added the Hyderabadi Nawadi flavours into the design. We wanted to get the regionality into perspective.”
The store is segregated into three sections – the suits section, the ethnic wear section and the fabric section. “The main concept was to identify these sections correctly and segregate them, while at the same time letting it have an open feel so that customers can experience the product,” Sunil Kumar, Director, Viridis Architecture told Retail4Growth.
