Adidas Originals opens its first footwear-only store in New Delhi

Adidas originals opens its first 'Footwear only' store at Delhi’s famed neighbourhood marketplace Khan Market. The tiny store covering 450 sq ft houses only premium merchandise of the brand and aims to become the sneaker destination for the youth.

The store design follows the brand’s latest retail design concept “neighbourhood” that captures the raw energy of the streets to turn Originals stores into local cultural epi-centre.  The three stripes on the footwear wall reinforce the 'adidas' brand lineage while the store interior is treated to look like 'natural concrete finish'. This finish is most urban in concept and implementation includes a lot of detail.  The store, through its visuals, celebrates the beauty of authentic and natural moments and human potential.

A source from the design team of Adidas said, “It was very challenging to create a conducive shopping environment together with communicating the brand ethos in such a small space which was earlier an ATM space. However, the outcome is brilliant.”
