Aiming to redefine grocery shopping in India Amazon Fresh is extending its full-basket grocery service to 130+ cities, including Ambala, Aurangabad, Hoshiarpur, Dharwad, Una and Suri, among others.
Amazon India has announced the expansion of Amazon Fresh, its full-basket grocery service of wet and dry groceries including fruits, vegetables, chilled products, beauty, baby, personal care, and pet products among other daily grocery needs, to 130+ cities. These cities include Ambala, Aurangabad, Hoshiarpur, Dharwad, Una, Suri, and others.

Srikant Sree Ram, Director, Amazon Fresh IN said, “Amazon Fresh is reshaping grocery shopping in India. We bring fresh produce and daily essentials right at the doorsteps of our customers across 130 cities in India. Our expansion and focus on quality products demonstrate our commitment to serve customers and offer them the best online shopping experience for fresh produce and daily essentials. Further, customers can avail benefits from cashback, offers, and bank discounts, adding value to their every purchase.”
In a bid to move away from the competitive quick Commerce Space in the Grocery segment, Amazon Fresh is reportedly focusing on range and quality of products. As Harsh Goyal, Director, Grocery, Amazon India, had highlighted in an interview with Storyboard 18, grocery is a massive market where various formats can co-exist, serving different consumer needs. The brand’s recent ad campaigns featuring Manoj Bajpayee, also reiterates the brand proposition that it’s not just speed, but also value and quality.
As part of its initiatives to simply the shopping experience, Amazon Fresh says it offers a dedicated app-in-app for groceries on Amazon.in, and other features like personalized widgets, buy again option, and reminders to ensure that frequently shopped items aren't forgotten during checkout, informs the company statement.
