ASUS incorporates cutting-edge in-store technology; reveals expansion plans

All ASUS Exclusive Stores (AES) in India are powered by state-of-the-art technology and design, including the latest cutting-edge, Pegasus-designed facilities. They also have an Amazon QR code that facilitates consumers to buy products without coming in direct contact.

The Taiwanese multinational electronic company, ASUS incorporates cutting-edge technology in all its retail outlets for a smooth and safe shopping experience. The adoption of omnichannel strategy and other technological enhancement will induce sales and encourage people to shop from physical stores, as per the company.

All ASUS Exclusive Stores (AES) also have an Amazon QR code that facilitates consumers to buy products without coming in direct contact. It also assists in en-cashing on offers and search for the EMI options that are available in products.

Arnold Su, Business Head, Consumer & Gaming PC, System Business Group, Asus India, stated, “All 100 ASUS Exclusive Stores (AES) in India are powered by state-of-the-art technology and design, including the latest cutting-edge, Pegasus-designed facilities. To ensure the easy offline availability of our products, we have expanded the premium Shop-in-Shop (SIS) model in multi-format retail stores and, at present, have around 100 SIS. This is in addition to the 500 premium kiosks that we have available in retail stores across India.”

The pandemic hasforced customers to shop from the comfort their homes. However, there will always be a need for meaningful ‘real-world’ experiences that only physical stores can offer. Therefore, the company aims to increase their ASUS Exclusive Stores (AES) count to 200 across all key tier-1 and tier- 2 cities and have 400 Shop-in-Shop (SIS) and 2000 in-store kiosks by 2021.
