The Austrian brand is redefining the traditional showroom experience by encouraging visitors to interact with and test its hardware firsthand, rather than simply viewing static displays.

Blum India has launched its newest experience centre in Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra, bringing furniture hardware solutions closer to local customers. With this launch, Blum India aims to bridge the quality gap by offering high-performance hardware solutions, setting a new standard for furniture fittings in the region. Before this, Blum India had opened an Experience Centre in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu, marking its expansion into the southern market and strengthening its growing presence across India.
Working with Mahalaxmi Kitchen World, the Austrian brand is moving away from the usual "look but don't touch" showroom style. At the Blum Experience Centre, architects, designers and homeowners can now walk in and physically test the hardware before a purchase.
"The conversation in the furniture industry is changing,” said Sameer Waingankar, Sales Director of Blum India. “Homeowners and professionals are no longer just looking at a price tag; they are looking for a lifetime of performance. Our goal with this centre is to support every modular kitchen designer to ensure their projects meet global standards, and we want to thank our partners at Mahalaxmi Kitchen World for joining us in this journey.”
“Working with Blum India is really about bringing that hands-on experience to our own neighbourhood,” stated Jai R Tuniya, Owner of Mahalaxmi Kitchen World, Blum Experience Centre. “You can finally stop relying on just catalogues to find a high-quality modular kitchen. We want architects and homeowners to actually feel how these hinges and drawers work before they decide.”
