Citykart to open 10 stores across Bihar, UP & West Bengal

Citykart has inaugurated its inaugural store in Kanchrapara, West Bengal, marking the retailer's entrance into the state and among the ten stores in total, six have been strategically situated in Bihar.

Citykart, positioned as one of India’s largest value retailers focusing on family fashion in tier-II and tier-III cities, is on an expansion spree. The company is set to open 10 new stores across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar along with the opening of its first store in West Bengal in the month of October.

“This year, Citykart is making great strides, reaching a remarkable milestone of 100 stores, strengthening its commitment to providing affordable and quality fashion choices to the communities in these regions. The expansion also underscores Citykart's dedication to generate employment opportunities for 300-400(approx) people in these areas, contributing to the local economies,” shares the company statement.

Citykart has inaugurated its inaugural store in Kanchrapara, West Bengal, marking the retailer's entrance into the state. Among the ten stores in total, six have been strategically situated in Bihar, including Patna, where the brand is opening its third store in Machuatoli, following the success of its two stores in Digha Patna and Fulwari Shareef. Meanwhile, cities such as Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Motihari, Bettiah, and Siwan will welcome the brand's second store after the impressive performance of their initial stores, informs the company. 

The upcoming Bettiah store is poised to be the largest in Bettiah and India for the Citykart brand. The remaining three stores are slated for Uttar Pradesh, with Jaunpur and Jhansi welcoming the brand's 2nd store after the initial store's success. Additionally, Rajaji Puram will become the ninth store, following the achievement of eight stores in the Lucknow area. All these stores are set to open their doors by this festival season.
