New York based luxury brand Coach opens its second store in the country at Delhi's DLF Emporio Mall after a store at Mumbai's Palladium Mall.

Luxury accessories and lifestyle brand from New York, Coach recently opened its first store in Indian capital. Boasting the brand’s modern luxury store design concept, the 1195 sq ft store, designed by Coach’s Executive Creative Director, Stuart Vevers, finds its address at city’s designer label mall DLF Emporio. Coach entered Indian market in partnership with Genesis Luxury mid of last year with a store at Mumbai’s Palladium mall.

Drawing from a wide range of influences, the modern luxury concept places a premium on contrasting textures and luxe materials. The new retail space features an intimate entrance that welcomes visitors while warm lighting and inviting interiors create a sense of discovery. The store features a glass-block façade with face lit logo. The interior consists of ironspot brick pavers, reclaimed heart-pine wood flooring with custom hand-tufted wool carpeting where the overall palette is natural. Fabricated from natural and ebonized ash, blackened steel, antique bronze and mahogany trim, the cabinetry features handbag walls incorporating seasonal artwork back-drops.  The store is appointed with statement mid-century furniture punctuating the elegant lines and muted colors.

Ian Bickley, President, International Group for Coach said, “We are especially thrilled to open in New Delhi, one of the region’s premier shopping areas and are confident that our modern luxury store environment will be warmly embraced.” The store will carry a wide assortment of Coach merchandise for women and men including bags, small leather goods, footwear, watches, travel accessories, scarves and jewelry.  The stores will also carry coveted handbags from Coach 1941, the brand’s elevated runway collection.
