Decathlon marks new milestone in sports retail at Phoenix Marketcity

The latest flagship store of Decathlon at Phoenix Marketcity, Mumbai, takes the total store count of the brand in the country to 132, and features a reimagined retail space, setting a new benchmark in the category.  

Iconic sports retail chain Decathlon, has announced the opening of its latest flagship store at Phoenix Marketcity, Mumbai. “This new location marks a significant milestone in Decathlon’s journey for moving people through the wonder of sport in Mumbai, further solidifying its presence in the Indian market,” shares the company.

With the opening of this new store, the total number of Decathlon stores has now reached 132. Spanning 1066 square meters, this newly launched two-story Decathlon store at Phoenix Marketcity, Mumbai, features a fully reimagined and modern design, setting a new benchmark for retail experiences in the city, says the company.

The store also features hassle-free self-checkout counters, aimed at delivering a smooth and efficient omni shopping journey. What’s more, for the first time in Mumbai, the store will also showcase Decathlon's innovative multiball court play area, especially designed to engage children and young people. “This isn’t just a space for play— it’s an opportunity to inspire the next generation to embrace sports and lead an active lifestyle,” says the company.
