Evok plans to launch 10 mega home stores this year

As part of its aggressive retail expansion in South India, the home interior retail chain launched its largest store in Bengaluru.

Evok, the home decore solution provider from Hindware Home Retail Pvt Ltd, today unveiled its third store in Bangalore, taking the total count to 17 stores across 14 cities in the country. Spread over an area of 13,000 sq ft and four levels, the store provides complete home interior solution including soft home furnishing, home furniture, bath products, modular kitchens and appliances. Evok is currently looking at expanding its retail presence in the South, West and East including key cities such as Mumbai, Nashik, Aurangabad, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata. The brand plans to open 10 mega home stores and 15 specialty stores in tier I and 2 cities in the financial year 2013-2014, with an investment of appx Rs 1.5 crore per store.
 
Speaking at the launch,  Sandeep Arora, CEO, Hindware Home Retail Pvt. With the launch of the new stores this year, Evok expects its turnover to reach Rs 400 crore.
