Freecultr launches digital Pop-Out store

The brand launched a digital Pop-Out store along with DDB MudraMax in order to help shoppers experience the product and push online sales.

To extend Freecultr presence from online environment to an offline space, the brand launched a digitalized Pop-Out store to connect with shoppers. DDB MudraMax helped Freecultr with its first Digital Pop-Out store which replicates the online shopping experience by integrating the traditional approach of touch and feel.

The store is a model where a temporary store is set up to stay in one place for a stipulated duration. Commenting on this, Sujal Shah, CEO & Co-Founder of Freecultr said, "The Digital Pop-Out concept store was a fun and exciting way for us to engage directly and face-to-face with our customers for them to touch and feel our products and experience the brand. The 46 days of this activity were filled with excitement and valuable learning and we hope to extend this activity to other locations soon.”

The POP up store uses 3G powered iPads and a stationery wi-fi enabled desktop, complete with interactive LED screens that allowed consumers to browse the catalogue and place orders. FREECULTR Size Card helped consumers assured of the exact size and measurements before placing their order online.

Commenting on this, Mandeep Malhotra, President, DDB MudrMax said "The pop out store is the most effective way to generate engagement. Freecultr has set the benchmark in being the pioneer in setting up the quality standards for POP-OUT store in India. DDB Mudramax would love to be part of their next initiative to create another benchmark.”

The results were positive as the Pop-out store's average sale per day went up to Rs. 1.5 lac. Also, about 3000 people interacted with the brand on weekends and approx. 1000 on weekdays. Freecultr POP up store was started with Delhi - Promenade mall, Vasant Kunj and now after its success, the team plans to launch in Mumbai soon.
