David Abraham and Rakesh Thakore, the creative minds behind the renowned Abraham & Thakore label, and hailed as the 'Masters of Minimalismhave announced the opening of their flagship store in Hyderabad, the first in the city.Spanning 1093 square feet, the store is situated on the ground floor of Signature Tower in Signa and according to the company, signals a new beginning for the brand in Hyderabad 

"Hyderabad, with its profound cultural and textile heritage interwoven with a fresh, dynamic energy, presents an exhilarating opportunity for us. This vibrant city allows us to showcase our enduring commitment to traditional craft and weaving, now articulated through a modern, contemporary voice," share the designers of Abraham & Thakore, David Abraham & Rakesh Thakore. 

Clean, craft-driven, and contemporary, the store’s aesthetic embodies much of what the brand stands for and the store designed by Saurabh Dakshini, Founder and Principal Architect of Studio Organon, is a testament to it. The design aesthetic embraces Abraham & Thakore’s iconic black and white palette, creating a striking yet graceful ambiance. The disciplined use of geometric layouts and grids imparts a sense of order and architectural finesse, while the flooring pays homage to retro aesthetics with modern Terrazzo layouts,” says the company statement describing the store design.  

The choice of Hyderabad for their newest store is also a strategic one for Abraham & Thakore. The city’s unique blend of rich tradition and modern energy aligns perfectly with the brand’s ethos, providing the ideal environment to showcase its expanded collections, including menswear, womenswear, and home products,” adds the company. 

The brand is looking at a significant expansion of its presence through brick-and-mortar retail stores and a strengthened online platform in the next two financial years.
