Gourmet West opens its first store in Pune

Foraying into gourmet food category, Westside has opened its first hypermarket format, Gourmet West in Pune. Situated at the Westside store itself at Kakade Mall - Pune, Gourmet West is targeted at travel addicts, health buffs, epicures and those who love to experiment with global cuisine.

"Gourmet West features a large selection of gourmet delicatessen items such as cheeses, cold cuts, meats, olive oil, organic products, signature breads, dips and sauces. Be it Gouda for that cheese platter, mozzarella for the thin crust pizza or gorgonzola for the fondue party, Gourmet West offers a great selection to choose from. Gourmet West offers home-grown and exotic produce under one roof along with imported products including pasta, sauces, vinegars, oils, condiments and accompaniments, cookies and confectionary, chips and snacks, frozen food and beverages at competitive prices. Depending on the success, the same format is being planned to be carried on with many other Westside outlets.
