Jenjum Gadi's flagship store launched in Delhi

Delhi based designer Jenjum Gadi launched his flagship store at the Crescent Mall, Gurgaon. With a vision to provide his patrons greater exclusivity, the designer makes a fashionable foray into retail market with his business partner Julie Deb. Incidentally, at 33 Jenjum Gadi from Arunachal Pradesh is the youngest designer from the North East to open a flagship store in the country after launching his eponymous label "Jenjum Gadi”.
 
Renowned interior designer Ambrish Arora from Lotus Design was roped in to design the interiors. The store has been created with elaborate color bursts and geometrical patterns that reflect tribal motifs and expressions, which happen to be Jenjum's biggest source of inspiration.
 
The store boasts of an amalgamation of Jenjum's creations, starting from his much celebrated "An ode to Gota” and the "Tribal Connection”. His collection brings to the fold young and peppy ensembles in vibrant hues, brilliant motifs, intricate hand woven designs and beads with impeccable cuts and silhouettes.
 
Apart from his creations the store will also stock accessories designed by Jenjum Gadi's close friend and jewellery designer Zames Mangte from Manipur.
 
Jenjum Gadi says talking about the initiative, "I am extremely thrilled to have launched my store in the city and through my collection in the store I bring a slice of the ancestral tribal charm. The launch of the store I trust will furthermore bring more significance to the barely known designs and motifs of the ancestral tribal charm.”
 
Jenjum Gadi's business partner Julie Deb echoed the sentiment, "It is a moment of sheer joy and gratification for us to have finally launched the store and I hope the collection in the store will provide the city's fashion lovers an escape from fashion monotony.”
