Lenskart to take its Lenskart Lite concept to store formats

Lenskart plans to open smaller and simpler stores for tier-II and tier III towns.

Post launching their no-internet app product Lenskart Lite, the omni channel eyewear major Lenskart is planning to bring a store concept in the same name. Lenskart Lite stores will be smaller in sizes with simpler design and will find its addresses in smaller towns. Lenskart has already revealed its plan to open 200 more stores in both metros and non-metros in next few years.

Launching the app product in January this year, Peyush Bansal, CEO, Lenskart.com, said, “The launch of the Lenskart Lite app demonstrates our company’s commitment to mobile solutions and its ability in developing cutting-edge and favorable mobile application that helps users to discover different eyewear to match their personalities. With the changing online business models and evolving consumer behavior with regards to online shopping, Lenskart.com aims to provide a hassle free and faster experience to shoppers through this initiative.”

Lenskart Lite is also India’s e-commerce industry’s first NO internet app, suited for android mobile phones will make shopping possible even without no internet. Lenskart set an example of setting up 90 stores in 90 days in last year keeping the store design model small, lean and profitable. Taking the same philosophy of making the brand available for all, Lenskart Lite stores will further simplify the design. Lenskart stores pan India are done by Kingsmen India.
