The Indian manufacturer of packaged foods and products, Habanero Foods International is strengthening its retail ties in Hyderabad. The company is also rapidly expanding its presence in tier-1 and tier-2 of India, and is aligning with investors to raise 15 crore shortly for expansion.

Griffith David, Founder, Habanero Foods, stated, “Having started restaurant business which is capital intensive, we saw great prospects for retail business and started scaling up by tapping into modern retail from second half of 2019. We are creating world-class import quality products at Indian prices by sourcing ingredients locally. Hyderabad is among our major markets in the country.”

Habanero Foods operates from Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Goa, Pune. Mumbai, Coimbatore and Vijaywada. The company has a manufacturing and R&D facility near Bengaluru airport. It also has 1 SKUs at present and is adding 30-35 in the coming future.
