Argentine polo accessories brand La Martina has opened their flagship store at the Palladium Mall, which has been designed by 02JUNE Design Studios + Few Steps Ahead as an immersive tribute to the spirit and legacy of the sport of polo.

Premium Argentine brandLa Martina, which specialises in clothes and accessories related to the  sport of polo, has opened their flagship store in Mumbai at the city’s premier destination, Palladium Mall.

Located on the second floor and spanning 1,200 square feet, the store has been designed by 02JUNE Design Studios + Few Steps Ahead asan immersive tribute to La Martina’s Argentine roots and the world of polo- a sport known not just for its elegance, but for its culture, discipline, and legacy”, as the brand shares.

The design of the store is a tribute to the world of polo — not just as a sport, but as a culture. Drawing from traditional Argentine estancias and the understated grandeur of classic polo clubs, the interiors combine raw textures and refined finishes. From the curves of the architecture to the use of saddle leather, brushed brass, and wood, every element echoes the tactile beauty of polo — from mallets to riding boots. The layout of the space mirrors the rhythm of a polo match: composed, disciplined, and purposeful,” further explains the company.

“Mumbai is a city that, much like Buenos Aires, thrives on contrasts—where heritage walks hand-in-hand with innovation, saysAdrian Simonetti, La Martina Co-founder & President. These are values deeply embedded in the soul of our brand’s philosophy. This store is more than a retail space—it is a continuous tribute from our Argentine roots to the origins of polo in India, where this noble game first took shape centuries ago. I’m so pleased to have a great team at Reliance brands as our partner, India stands out as one of the most dynamic and culturally rich markets for us globally.”

“Designing the La Martina store in Mumbai was about more than aesthetics—it was about capturing the spirit of polo,”says Sankalp Sahu, Founder & Director - 02JUNE Design Studios + Few Steps Ahead, the design studio behind the space. “From the moment you walk in, every detail—from the use of saddle leather and mallets in the displays to the material textures—was carefully chosen to reflect La Martina’s heritage and bring it into dialogue with Indian elegance. The goal was to create an immersive experience that feels both global and deeply rooted in craft and culture, he adds.
