Metro Shoes Ltd to reach 1000 store mark by 2020

Metro is planning to up its store count to more than double in next 2-3 years. At present, Metro has 400 stores in 100 cities including metros and tier II and tier III cities for all its formats.

Homegrown multibrand shoe retailer Metro Shoe Ltd has revealed its plan to be present through 1000 stores by 2020. Today, Metro has 400 stores in 100 cities including metros and tier II and tier III cities for all its formats. Metro has three store formats for Metro Shoe, Mochi and budget chain Walkway and also has exclusive distributorship of clogs footwear brand Crocs all over India. Metro is currently developing Crocs kiosk network in all international and domestic terminals across India. Last year, Metro also reported a growth of 200%-250% of its e-commerce business.
