Spencer's Retail unveils Hyper store in Salt Lake City
The group plans to add nearly 3,00,000 sq. ft of new trading area for Spencer's by the end of this financial year.
Spencer's Retail Limited, India's food first multi-format retailer, opened their new Hyper store at Sector 2 of Salt Lake City in Kolkata.
Spread over 3,000 sq. ft. of trading area this new neighbourhood store offers a wide range and assortment of merchandise across categories of FMCG-food, FMCG- non food, staples, fresh fruits and vegetables, frozen vegetarian and non vegetarian products, personal care, home and kitchen essentials etc.
Spencer's Retail Limited, part of the 14,000 crores RP - Sanjiv Goenka group, runs about 127 stores, including 32 large format stores across 30 cities in India. Spencer's retail is currently on an aggressive growth path with robust expansion plans of opening 12 hypermarkets and adding nearly 3,00,000 sq. ft of new trading area by the end of the this financial year.
