McDonald’s expands presence in Eastern India with new restaurant in Siliguri

The global QSR giant’s first restaurant in Siliguri is at Vega Circle Mall and is spread over an area of 1815 sq. ft., with a seating capacity of 136.

McDonald’s has announced its entry in Siliguri, West Bengal opening its first restaurant in the city at Vega Circle Mall. Spread over an area of 1815 sq. ft. and a seating capacity of 136, the restaurant features a contemporary look and feel with globally inspired décor, furniture, and exterior design, informs the company.
Announcing the restaurant launch, Rajeev Ranjan, Managing Director, McDonald’s India – North and East, said, “We are delighted to open our doors in Siliguri and welcome the community to enjoy the delicious menu, warmth and exceptional service that we are known for. This launch marks an exciting step in our journey to bring great food and creating delightful moments.”
The new McDonald’s restaurant offers conveniences such as self-ordering digital kiosks, table service, and guest experience leaders to assist with customers’ dining needs. The menu features a variety of signature offerings, including Maharaja Mac, McVeggie, McChicken, McAloo Tikki, Chicken McGrill, McCrispy Chicken, McSpicy Burgers, Special Wraps, and Kebab Rolls, alongside McDonald’s world-famous French fries, refreshing beverages, and indulgent desserts.
To enhance customer convenience, the new restaurant in Siliguri is set to offer multiple ordering options, including dine-in and takeaway services, ensuring that customers can enjoy their McDonald’s favorites whenever and wherever they choose.
McDonald’s India – North and East operates nearly 245 restaurants and employs over 6,000 people, investing significantly in training and development. As part of its McDonald’s for Youth program, the company says it will recruit employees locally, with a focus on creating job opportunities for underprivileged individuals, further supporting India’s economic growth.
