Metro Brands Ltd. appoints Manoj Juneja to lead sports division as Chief Business Officer

As Chief Business Officer – Sports Division at Metro Brands Ltd., Juneja will oversee the company’s sports brands, including FILA, New Era, Foot Locker and MetroActiv. 

Metro Brands Ltd., one of India’s leading footwear specialty retailers, has announced the appointment of Manoj Juneja as Chief Business Officer - Sports Division.

Juneja joins Metro Brands with over 27 years of experience across retail, footwear, fashion and consumer sectors. He brings extensive expertise in P&L management, strategy, omni-channel development and business transformation, having successfully scaled operations across markets. Throughout his career, he has consistently delivered strong financial performance while building scalable, future-ready organisations.

In his role as Chief Business Officer - Sports Division at Metro Brands Ltd., Juneja will lead the company’s sports portfolio, which includes FILA, New Era, Foot Locker and MetroActiv. He will focus on driving expansion, strengthening brand partnerships, and elevating consumer experiences, while expanding the division's market presence through integrated retail and omni-channel strategies.

Prior to joining Metro Brands Ltd., Juneja served as Chief Executive Officer at Crocs India Marketing Pvt. Ltd., where he led the business for Crocs and Hey Dude, driving growth through brand-led strategies and strengthening direct-to-consumer capabilities. Previously, as Chief Operating Officer for Reebok India at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, he led the brand’s relaunch in India, building the organisation from the ground up and delivering strong growth. He has also held senior leadership roles at Adidas India, Timex Group India, LG Electronics and MIRC Electronics, where he drove business expansion, digital transformation and operational excellence across large-scale consumer businesses.
