Mora Taara to open large format stores in Delhi and Mumbai

Eleven year old decor and lifestyle brand Mora Taara is planning to open two large format stores in New Delhi and Mumbai. Mora Taara is also planning to refurbish their online store to include their whole range in a more interesting format.

“We gained our confidence from our first large format store in Gurgaon. Spread over 4000 sq ft, the store gives us ample opportunity to play with design and visual merchandising. We will soon introduce a well-curated book section within the store and are in the process of upgrading our existing gourmet food section. We are working a lot on upgrading ambience and experience of our Gurgaon store,” said Anu Kumar, Partner, Mora Taara.

Talking about the brand’s focus on large format spaces, Kumar added, “As you can see our line of merchandise, we would like to showcase in a particular way that demands large spaces. Our Mumbai store is relatively small so we want to showcase a bigger collection in another store while keeping the first store in place. Though we are already present in Gurgaon, this will be our first brick-and-mortar store in Delhi. We are yet to decide on the location of the new store but they will be standalone stores as space is our focal requirement.”
