Nilgiris to change its logo after 112 years

Slated to change its brand logo for the first time, the south Indian food brand for dairy and bakery product plans to carry out a series of in-store activities specially at 19 key MT outlets across the region.

South India’s 112 years old dairy and bakery brand Nilgiris has shared its plans to promote its Christmas campaign at modern trade outlets aided with other media support like OOH and social activities.  Unveiling its campaign, ‘Christmas isn’t Christmas without Nilgiris’, the brand will also transform its logo for the first time since inception.

A series of in-store activities planned to be rolled out soon, the brand will focus on its entire offerings, an exquisite range of 60 different varieties of Christmas cakes and traditional sweets, the brand reported.

‘Christmas isn’t Christmas without Nilgiris' is based on the fact that Niligiris, a household name has been a part of its customers Christmas celebrations since 1905. Connecting with its consumers, the brand’s logo which is currently designed in green & white will slowly transform into red as the season nears to Christmas.

The color change will be seen in more than 19 stores in its key markets in the southern part of India and across its social media platforms. In addition to this, the brand will effectively use OOH, print media, in-store and digital media to promote the wide range of products created only for Christmas.
