Oven Story Pizza opens a second store in Gujarat

Located at Krishna Planet, Vallabh Vidyanagar, in Anand, Gujarat, Oven Story’s new outlet is set to cater to the growing enthusiasm for pizza. Itcovers a spacious area at a prime location on Anand-Vidyanagar Road, complete with dine-in experience, take-away and delivery options.  

Commenting on the launch, Raghav Joshi, Co-Founder of Rebel Foods, shared, " With this launch, we aim to strengthen our presence in Gujarat, a key market for our growth strategy. As we plan to open 200 stores across India, this is an exciting step forward in our journey. Anand holds a lot of potential for us due to its dynamic student population and evolving culinary preferences." 

This opening is part of Oven Story's and Rebel Foods' ambitions to establish a stronger offline presence, with a goal of opening 200 stores within the next 24 months. The expansion strategy focuses on Tier I and Tier II cities, where the demand for quality dining experiences is on the rise. 

Commenting further on their expansion plans, Raghav says, "Based on demographics, market potential for the category is what we'll use to select the 200 locations for the future stores.We are also experimenting with interactive customer experiences and launching successful pilots. For example, right now a pilot is going on using the OS app in dine-in for a counter-free experience. Customers can just take a table and order through the app, and will be notified when ready, and hence no need to go to the counter. If it does well, we will scale it up." 

The Anand outlet introduces several unique features for an improved customer experience such as the "Make Your Own Pizza" experience, complimentary garlic bread and a free cheese burst upgrade.
