‘Point of Purchase’, India’s first magazine on shopper marketing and the point-of-purchase industry, published by VJ Media Works, will now be converted into digital/online content that will be made available on the retail news portal www.retail4growth.com.

Vasant Jante, Founder & Publisher<Br>VJ Media Works PvtThe content of ‘Point of Purchase’, India’s first magazine on shopper marketing and the point-of-purchase industry, and published by VJ Media Works, will now move to the online platform,  with the content being made available on the retail news portal www.retail4growth.com

The move to stop the monthly magazine and take it to the online medium is based on the new media consumption patterns that are being evident. The digital platform also promises a wider reach for the content published.

Says Vasant Jante, Founder & Publisher, VJ Media Works Pvt, “Considering the media consumers’ new affinity for digital publications, owing to its reader-friendliness and speed of delivery, we have taken the decision to  convert our monthly magazine ‘Point-of-Purchase’ into digital content that will be published on our retails news portal Retail4Growth (www.retail4growth.com) and disseminated through the daily R4G newsletter to subscribed users. “

Point of Purchase was launched in 2000 as 'POP Today' and was later re-christened to its present name. Over the years the magazine built a strong identity and loyal readership in the retail industry with its strong focus on in-store marketing and communication trends.

The other retail-focused magazine published by VJ Media Works, namely 'VM&RD', India's best-known magazine on visual merchandising and retail design launched in 2005, will continue to be brought out in the monthly magazine format. As Vasant Jante says, “Our retail publications will continue to retain their primacy as vehicles for industry thought leadership and collaborations, as well as platforms for great brand building and marketing exercises.”
