Presentation on Euroshop 2014

Hans Werner Reinhard, Dy.Managing Director -- Messe Duesseldorf GmbH & Michael Gerling, CEO -- EHI Retail Institute, will talk about Euroshop 2014 at the Hotel Taj Land's End in Mumbai on September 27th, 2013.

The EuroShop, as everyone in the retail industry knows, is a fascinating diversity of ideas, a trade fair that sees several international trade visitors including the Who's Who of the global retail trade attending it.

To share more information on the show, Hans Werner Reinhard, Dy Managing Director -- Messe Duesseldorf GmbH and Michael Gerling, CEO -- EHI Retail Institute will give a presentation on Friday, the 27th of September 2013, at 7:00 p.m at the Garden view Banquet Hall, Hotel Taj Land's End Bandstand, Bandra West, Mumbai. The event will be followed by cocktails and dinner as well.

 "The global retail sector is currently facing its greatest challenges in decades. Profound changes in consumer buying behaviour, rapid technological changes massively affecting both internal corporate processes and the customer approach, the continuing globalisation of the sector and the emergence of entirely new marketing and distribution models demand from retailers a high degree of entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation readiness in order to ensure their continued survival in the marketplace of the future,” says Michael Gerling, CEO EHI Retail Institute, Cologne/Germany, explaining the need for it.

 He will cover a wide range of topics including areas such as the general trends in the retail industry and the structure of the retail landscape and the forthcoming changes, changes in buying behaviour in relation to the rapidly changing consumer buying behaviour, the increasing importance of the online channel and the enormous consequences for the design of retail selling spaces and the trend toward sustainability and energy efficiency with the use of natural and sustainable materials emerging in store design.

EuroShop held in Düsseldorf, is both the world's biggest capital goods trade fair for retail trade and its partners and an indispensable platform for tangible future trends, visions and impressions related to retail. It is a good opportunity for retailers to experience a broad spectrum of developments, solutions and innovations as well as compare them on a international scale. Retailers are also given the opportunity to enter into discussions with experts.
EuroShop 2014 will be held from February 16 to 20, 2014, at Dusseldorf, Germany, and will include a Retail Design Conference, which will include two award ceremonies: the EuroShop Retail Design Award and the much-coveted Retail Technology Awards Europe (Retail).
