Recode Studios continues expansion drive, steps up presence in Mumbai

The company opens its 18th Store at Mulund in Mumbai and says it aims to reach ?50 crore by the fiscal year-end.
Cosmetics brand Recode Studios, which has been on an offline expansion mode, has announced the opening of its 18th store in Mumbai. The new store is located in Mulund West marking a significant step in the company’s ambitious expansion strategy.
The company says it aims to achieve a turnover of ₹50 crore, by the end of the fiscal year underscoring its growth trajectory and market penetration. “This milestone reflects the brand’s strong performance and strategic expansion plans, including increasing its retail footprint to a total of 25 stores,” says the company statement.
Speaking on the latest store launch in Mumbai, Dheeraj Bansal, Co-Founder of Recode Studios, said, “This expansion represents not just a milestone in our growth journey but also a deeper connection with our loyal customers in this dynamic metropolis. Our goal has always been to bring high-quality, innovative beauty products to more people, and this new store is a testament to our ongoing commitment to excellence.”
The company informs that the new Mumbai store will also host exclusive events and promotions, aimed at enhancing the shopping experience and engaging with the local community.
The brand had recently announced the opening of its Chennai store, marking its first entry into the South.
In addition to the expansion in Chennai, Recode Studios has plans to further strengthen its presence in the South with stores in Bangalore and Hyderabad. The company has also recently shared that with an investment of Rs 20 lakhs in each store, it adopts a 'FOFO (Franchise owned, Franchise Operated) model' approach to ensure efficient utilization of resources.
