Retail Yatra – Ahmedabad 2026: Here's What the Retailers Had to Say
By Retail4Growth Bureau | May 02, 2026
Retail Yatra Ahmedabad 2026 brought the city's retailers under one roof, offering a focused platform to explore, plan, and execute their store experience and build - all with the right solution providers in one place.

Retail Yatra – Ahmedabad, which was held on April 29, 2026, at Taj Skyline, brought together the city's leading retailers and brands at a curated expo showcasing top retail solution providers.
As a one-day experience, the expo gave retailers a chance to explore various solutions to build impactful store experiences, right from design and lighting to technology and execution. The event saw participation from several prominent city brands, including JadeBlue Lifestyle India Limited, Skyblue Stationery Mart, Blue Buddha, Asopalav, KK Jewels, Ainakwala, For Her, Banna and Baisa, Falguni Gruh Udhyog and many more.
Retailers found the expo to be a one-stop destination for diverse retail solutions — spanning store refreshes, renovations, new concepts, and roll-outs. They valued the opportunity to explore retail-specific solutions and gain a deeper understanding of their long-term impact on store build quality, operational costs, and beyond.
There was also strong interest in smarter, more efficient solutions, with retailers keen to explore how innovation could elevate in-store experience and overall performance.
Response from retailers:
Jitendra Chauhan, CMD of JadeBlue Lifestyle India Limited - “Today, organised retail is growing fast. I’ve been part of this industry for years and I can see the change. When a retailer wants to open a store, the biggest question is: where do I go, who do I connect with? Here, at one place, you get so many solutions. If someone wants to build a good store, they can actually find everything here.”
Kailash Kabra, Managing Director of KK Jewels - “This is actually the first time I have attended something like this where I can see everything that goes into making a store. Usually, we just hand it over to our interior designers and they take care of everything. But here, I could see each aspect myself. With new stores, maintaining the same design language is very important. At the same time, managing interiors, budgets, timelines gets difficult when multiple vendors are involved. Dealing with different agencies leads to delays and costs go up. Now, as we move towards semi-franchise models, platforms like this really help. I connected with a display counter supplier here who clearly explained the costing, otherwise we’re just adding up raw material, labour, and other charges without knowing the actual cost. Since we’ve just finalised our Surat showroom, this will directly help us move faster and more efficiently.”
Alpesh Mehta, National Head of Distributor Partner Relationship at Mufti - “I am really happy that you brought something like this to Ahmedabad. It actually gives a full view of what retail is becoming today. From lighting to fixtures to how stores are presented globally, everything is here under one roof. For someone who wants to build a new store, this gives a complete direction.”
