Roland DG has announced that it will launch its new Texart RT-640 advanced 64” sublimation printer at Media Expo Mumbai, which will be held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai during 16- 18 January.

Visitors to the Roland DG stand, B11 will be the first in India to see this exciting machine in action and witness the vast range of applications which are possible.

The new RT-640 sublimation printer is available in either dual CMYK or eight colour ink configurations and features innovative print control technologies and a powerful ErgoSoft Roland Edition RIP software. Roland's latest variable droplet print head technology in combination with new Roland Texart dye sublimation ink offers bold, vibrant colours and rich strong blacks. Adding Orange and Violet inks increases the already wide colour gamut and allows for exceptional reds, oranges, deep blues and purples.

Says Venkat Adiraju, Roland DG Country Manager India: "Our machines are globally renowned for their quality and consistency. Media Expo is a wonderful opportunity for printers, sign makers and business owners to see for themselves just how reliable, versatile and most importantly, profitable, Roland machines are. The Roland DG team and our master distributor in India, Apsom Infotex Ltd, look forward to welcoming visitors to the stand and explaining how Roland devices can transform customers' imagination into profit.”

In addition to the exciting new RT-640 sublimation printer, there will be demonstrations on a range of wide format print and print & cut machines. Seeing really is believing when it comes to the speed of our fastest printer, the SOLJET PRO 4 XF-640 which has been designed with strength, precision and performance in mind. Customers will be able to judge for themselves the high quality of output which is possible at speeds up to 102m² / 1097ft² per hour.

The company states that for something completely different, visitors to the Roland stand will be amazed by the ability of the VersaUV LEF-20 desktop flatbed printer to transform ordinary objects into profitable personalised items. The team will be running practical demonstrations on the LEF-20 to show just how easy it is to print directly onto items such as pens, coasters, key chains and phone covers.

The company adds that budding entrepreneurs looking to diversify their businesses will be excited by the money-making potential of the VersaSTUDIO BN-20 desktop printer/cutter. With live demonstrations, customers will witness first-hand the efficiency with which this compact machine is able to deliver high quality t-shirt transfers and also discover the vast range of other profitable applications the BN-20 offers.

Also showcased on the stand will be Roland's VersaEXPRESS RF-640A printer and for those interested in the versatility offered by integrated print and cut technology, the VersaCAMM VS-640i.

With a rolling schedule of live practical demonstrations over the three days and a wide range of exciting and innovative samples to inspire creativity and reveal new revenue streams, the Roland stand is a must for all visitors to Media Expo Mumbai.
