Salad Days, a brand in the healthy foods category, has announced plans to expand its cloud kitchen network to 50 locations by the end of 2025. The brand has grown from 29 operational cloud kitchens to 36 currently, with plans to add 15 more locations in the coming months. The expansion will see the brand strengthening its footprint in Delhi NCR and scaling operations across Mumbai. Salad Days currently operates through a network of 36 cloud kitchens, with 19 kitchens in Delhi-NCR, 12 in Bangalore, and 5 in Mumbai.
In Delhi NCR, 8-10 new cloud kitchens will be launched across Gurugram, Delhi & Noida. The Mumbai expansion will cover Malad West, Borivali West, BKC, Chembur, Thane, and more. Supporting the expansion brand's revamped kitchen infrastructure featuring a continuous makeline system with Kitchen Display Systems (KDS), IoT-enabled temperature monitoring, and a modular design that enables parallel processing of multiple order streams.
“Delhi NCR and Mumbai represent the epicentre of India's health-conscious urban population, and these are markets where we've already established strong customer trust over the years,” said Varun Madan, Founder & CEO of Salad Days. “This expansion is about building the density and infrastructure needed to serve our customers faster while maintaining the quality and consistency they've come to expect from us. The Series A funding raised earlier this year enables us to scale our impact significantly. We've already served 1 million orders in 2025, and we're now positioned to cater to an estimated 4.5 million orders over the next two years.”
“As the brand scales to 50+ locations while introducing advanced kitchen infrastructure, it reinforces its decade-long focus towards making nutritious eating a mainstream choice for urban India,” says the company statement.
