Sekel Tech unveils PIN code cluster targeting hyperlocal retail

This solution tackles a key challenge in India’s fast-growing hyperlocal market, where traditional city or state-level targeting often wastes resources and misses high-potential opportunities for businesses with multiple locations.

Sekel Tech, a company focused on hyperlocal commerce and enterprise retail technology, has announced the launch of PIN code cluster targeting, an enterprise-grade solution that orchestrates real-time inventory, demand forecasting, and promotional campaigns at the granular PIN code level.

This innovation addresses a major challenge in India’s fast-growing hyperlocal market, where traditional city or state-level targeting often leads to substantial wastage and missed opportunities for multi-site businesses.

Natively integrated into Sekel Tech’s unified Omni Local platform, the solution harnesses Five Agentic AI Engines to analyse demographic and behavioural patterns, synchronise inventory, predict demand signals, and automatically deploy targeted campaigns across Google, Meta, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. Early adopters in automotive, QSR, and fashion retail have achieved up to three times higher qualified lead conversion rates compared to standard advertising platforms.

India’s retail landscape is uniquely fragmented, with over 19,000 PIN codes reflecting diverse urban-rural demographics, purchasing power, and cultural preferences. Global enterprise systems often fall short here, forcing brands expanding into Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities to rely on inefficient broad targeting. This results in marketing budget waste on low-intent audiences while overlooking high-value micro-markets.

“Traditional enterprise systems like Oracle and SAP were built for more homogeneous Western markets,” said Rakesh Raghuvanshi, Founder and CEO of Sekel Tech. “In India, consumer behaviour can vary dramatically between two PIN codes within the same city. A campaign that succeeds in one locality may fail just three kilometres away. Our Agentic AI identifies behavioural clusters and orchestrates stock, demand, and promotions in real time, ensuring brands deliver the right offer to the right customer in the right location.”

Sekel’s PIN code cluster targeting uses a three-layer orchestration that analyses demand at the PIN code cluster level with 92% accuracy, monitors real-time stock across locations to flag high-demand and overstocked areas, and automatically launches campaigns on Google, Meta, Pinterest, and LinkedIn based on inventory levels, demand signals, and predicted conversion probability.

Unlike standalone ad tools or basic geo-targeting, Sekel’s solution integrates with enterprise ERP systems, point-of-sale terminals, and warehouse management platforms. This creates a closed-loop system that continuously refines campaigns based on actual sales results.

According to the company, “A Tier-1 automotive tyre retailer with 150+ locations achieved 11% lead conversion rates over eight months (versus the 3–4% industry average with city-level targeting). This reduced customer acquisition costs by 60% and boosted foot traffic to underperforming Tier-2 locations by 240%.”

“Hyperlocal commerce in India cannot be solved with broad targeting and static planning,” added Raghuvanshi. “When inventory, demand, and promotions align at the PIN code level, brands move from guesswork to precision, driving higher conversions, lower waste, and far better returns on marketing and supply chain investments.”

Its benefits can be seen across sectors. “Automotive dealerships target location-specific inventory and offers, cutting unqualified showroom visits by 70%; QSR and food delivery brands align promotions with kitchen capacity, driving a 180% rise in off-peak orders in office-dense PIN codes; and fashion and beauty brands run targeted promotions based on PIN code buying patterns,” says the company statement.
