In a latest survey of Global Shopper Study by Zebra Technologies, it is seen that shoppers expect a seamless experience among store and online and are placing more online orders due to easy service, product availability and safety measures.
According to the survey, 41% of the shoppers say that out-of-stock is the prime reason for consumers to not choose brick-and-mortar store service over online, while 32% of them have issue with long checkout lines.
It is also seen that 6 in 10 shoppers agree that self-checkout solutions can offer better consumer experience Amidst everything, safety has become the most significant concern. Consumers attain confidence when precautionary measures are put into place. 7 in 10 associates believe that social distancing and other contact tracing apps can help in escalating the consumer service, as per the study.
