Infinia Technologies and Satya Retail launch what they call ‘SAII’ aimed at revolutionizing India’s Convenience Retail with AI, Blockchain, and fintech integration.

Satya Retail, a DS Group affiliate, which is a digital B2B platform, focused on organizing B2B distribution for India’s convenience retail channel, has joined forces with Infinia Technologies, subsidiary of Sirius International Holding to launch the Smart AI Integrator (SAII).
According to the company, “This cutting-edge digital platform will harness AI, blockchain, and fintech innovations to empower 2-3 million small convenience outlets across India, enhancing their access to products, services, financing, and data-driven tools.”
“The Indian convenience retail channel, estimated at $40 billion, faces challenges such as space constraints, fragmented supply chains, and limited working capital access. SAII addresses these by providing a unified digital platform that streamlines supply and demand, integrates multiple services, and boosts merchant efficiency,” the company adds.
Ritesh Kumar, Director at DS Group, highlighted the initiative’s transformative potential: "Our collaboration with Infinia Technologies brings together the strength of Satya, our high performing digital B2B platform, our retail network, and Infinia’s AI innovation to empower small businesses across India. SAII will help local merchants modernize their operations, access financial and digital tools seamlessly, and become part of a larger connected commerce ecosystem. This is a major step toward building a more inclusive and technology-driven retail economy.”
Satya Retail connects retailers with various FMCG products, leveraging its digital platform and feet-on-street model. The company only focuses on small and medium-sized retailers in the convenience channel, providing access to digital convenience and enhanced service levels to outlets devoid of direct distribution till now.
Currently rolled out in five cities the company says it has already crossed a milestone of ₹100 crores annual recurring revenue (ARR), and garnered overwhelming positive feedback from retailers. The strategic plan targets expansion to all towns across India with populations above 5 lakhs within the next three years, whilst continuously enhancing the platform with the latest AI-driven services.
Arif Khan, CEO of Infinia Technologies, emphasized the real-world impact of their AI and blockchain technology on India’s digital economy: "This partnership represents a defining moment in how AI and Blockchain can drive real-world impact. Through SAII, we’re enabling millions of India’s retailers to access intelligent tools and digital services that were once out of reach, while advancing our mission to take advanced AI from Abu Dhabi to the world. This is only the beginning; we plan to extend the SAII model across Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa, with more projects to be announced soon.”
Amit Dutta, CEO of Satya Retail, explained the vision for the platform: "SAII is much more than a platform; it is a digital ally for millions of small retailers, empowering them to access products, services, and microcredit with unprecedented ease. We are proud to turn technology into opportunity for every Indian convenience shop through Satya Retail’s distribution reach.”
