The Bombay Store unveils its fifth store in Mumbai

The Bombay Store, one of India's oldest and most popular lifestyle destinations has launched its fifth store at Linking Road, Khar (West) in the city of Mumbai. Measuring 1800 sq ft, the store caters to a wide spectrum of audience from art enthusiasts, tourists, NRI's and youth.

The new store boasts a plethora of products ranging from exquisite artefacts, bed and table linen, home products, fashion accessories, ethnic jewellery to name a few. The store has recently launched'Bejeweled' collection that offers handmade ornamented embellishments in vibrant colour combinations. Announcing the launch, Asim Dalal, Managing Director, The Bombay Store said, "The new store will provide wholesome shopping experience giving customers access to wide choice of traditional and contemporary lifestyle products under one roof. The Bombay Store enjoys a unique legacy as one of the oldest lifestyle destinations with roots tracing from India's freedom struggle. Incorporated with an idea to promote indigeneous products during the Swadeshi movement, the first store was founded by some of the greatest patriots and business luminaries like Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Ratanji Jamshedji Tata and frequented by Jawaharlal Nehru and Vijayalakshmi Pandit. It became the first retail organisation to be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange. Since then the store is effortlessly preserving country's heritage.
