Titan Eye+ unveils its 19th store in Kolkata

Titan Eye+, the leading eyewear retail chain from Titan Company Limited, strengthened the brand presence in the eastern region by launching a new store on Lindsay Street in Kolkata.
 
Speaking at the new store launch, Rajeshwari Srinivasan, Associate Vice President and Regional Business Head - East, Titan Company Limited said, "We are focused on expanding our retail network in the eastern zone of India. Kolkata being the center of East India holds a great significance in our retail expansion plans. Titan Eye+ is pleased to announce the opening of its new store in Kolkata and especially in Lindsay Street where we wanted to come since a long time. This store will help us to reach a great catchment area where people come everyday for shopping. Today, Titan Eye Plus has 77 stores in the Eastern region with 30 stores in West Bengal, out of which 19 stores are located in Kolkata itself.”
 
Enhancing in-store experiences for the shopper, Titan Eye+ stores offer an open browse and try format which helps the customer to pick and choose from a wide variety of frames. The store also offers free zero error eye testing in a testing clinic, conducted by optometrists, specially trained by Sankara Nethralaya. Apart from a wide assortment of eyewear in sync with the latest fashion, the store also has highly trained staff that helps customers choose the right spectacle or sunglass based on their lifestyle.
 
In terms of the collection, the store offers the recently launched'Enigma' Collection, a fashionable range of contemporary prescription eyewear exclusively for women. Other offerings include a wide range of house brands including Titan, Adreno, Flair, Glares, Dash, etc., as well as one of the largest ranges of international brands in the city such as Montblanc, Swarovski, Porsche, Tag-Huer, Carrera, Police, Ray Ban, Maui-Jim and Tommy Hilfiger.

On the further retail expansion of the brand in east, Srinivasan adds, "We hope to add up 20 more stores in the entire East zone which will be spread across Bihar & Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal and North East in the coming FY and want to penetrate into the deeper markets especially in Tier II and Tier III cities from where we are getting huge queries.”
