V-Bazaar pairs retail expansion with green initiatives

By Retail4Growth Bureau | June 08, 2026

Each new V-Bazaar store will be linked to a local Green Community and support regular plantation drives and community activities.

V-Bazaar has launched its #InspiredByNature campaign on World Environment Day 2026. The idea links the company’s store expansion with environmental work being done at the local level across India.

The company plans to grow its store network from 130 to 250 stores over the next four years and will develop 250 Green Communities alongside this expansion. Each new store will be connected to a local Green Community, supporting quarterly plantation drives and community activities with store teams, schools, and residents.

In addition to this, as part of its long-term plan, V-Bazaar will also support planting one lakh saplings by 2030. The initiative will continue as a store-led model across markets.

“Every new store should also create a positive impact in the community around it,” said Hemant Agarwal, Chairman and Managing Director of V-Bazaar. “Across our apparel range, we already use sustainable yarn in many products and are working to increase this share further to reduce our carbon footprint. Each store will also support local environmental action as we grow.”
