Zara unveils first store in Chennai

The Inditex Group today announced the launch of its premier fashion brand, Zara, at Phoenix Market City, Velachery, Chennai in Tamil Nadu. Phoenix Market City is not only the largest mall in Chennai but also a paramount luxury destination strategically located in Velachery. This spacious store which is more than 20,000 square feet displays women, men and kids Fall/Winter 2013-14 collections.

According to the company's press release, the store image is based on four principles: beauty, clarity, functionality and sustainability. The store's design primarily emphasizes simplicity as part of the ongoing mission to facilitate direct contact with customers making shopping simple. New concepts of materials and colour combination lighten up the new interior, distilling the brand's latest image, highlights the importance of direct customer contact with Zara's products in an interference free environment. With this store, Zara has 13 stores in India- 3 in Mumbai, 3 in Delhi, 2 in Bangalore, 1 in Pune, 1 in Chandigarh, 1 in Jaipur, 1 in Gurgaon and now 1 in Chennai.
