Centro Shoes & More, the fast-growing fashion footwear chain operated by V-Retail, marked its arrival on Ahmedabad's iconic CG Road by unveiling a series of striking window displays. The storefront was brought to life as a visual spectacle crafted to grab attention of passersby.
Conceptualised and executed by Catalyst Design, the window displays are built around the core theme of “Feet Fashion,” where each installation represents a different emotional and stylistic facet of the Centro Shoes & More universe, but together they build a cohesive brand narrative. Positioned as a premium multi-brand footwear destination, Centro brings together style, variety, and accessibility under one roof.

Lace up, Level Up
This installtion draws inspiration from the idea of a portal—a symbolic gateway to the next level. Here, a series of intricate and vibrant shoelace art installations form a striking visual centrepiece. Thick, oversized laces twist and move upward in spiral forms, creating a sense of motion that naturally draws the eye from the base to the top of the display.
The detailing comes through in the use of custom-dyed threads, stretched tightly across structured frames to form layered, web-like patterns. This creates depth and gives the display a strong visual pull. In contrast, the neon-lit circular rings add sharpness and brightness, making the products appear almost suspended within the space.
What’s more eye-catching is the use of different colour palettes like red, yellow, purple, and green across panels to add variation, while still keeping the overall look cohesive. The mix of soft thread textures and glowing light elements gives the window a slightly futuristic feel, while still keeping the focus on the product.
The interplay of bold lace colours, layered spirals, and circular portals brings a strong sense of energy and movement to the display, suggesting that every step forward begins by lacing up and levelling up.

Dazzling Diva
The window display draws from the mood of a retro disco night, bringing in a sense of glamour, movement, and celebration. At the centre, a large mirrored disco ball hangs, which instantly sets the tone. As light hits its surface, it reflects across the space and creates a play of sparkle that makes the entire window feel alive.
The display extends this idea through its material choices. Multiple mirrored spheres are suspended at different heights, which adds layers and depth. Below, the footwear is placed on custom-built pedestals shaped like half disco balls. These are made using wooden forms finished with mosaic mirror panels, giving them the same iconic shine while ensuring structure and durability.
Focused lighting works with the mirrored surfaces to scatter highlights across the window, creating a sense of rhythm, almost like a dance floor in motion. The variation in display heights further adds to this, guiding the viewer’s eye naturally across the installation.

The Digital Mural
Taking a graphic approach, this large-scale digital mural brings together the idea of “Feet Fashion”. Unlike the other windows, the focus here is on showcasing the variety within the brand. The mural features a mix of sandals, heels, formal shoes, and sneakers. These elements are set within a bold composition of geometric shapes, textures, and splatter-like graphics, built around a strong red and black colour palette.
Material-wise, the artwork is digitally illustrated by an artist, which allows for detailed compositions and a controlled visual flow. It is then printed on canvas, ensuring high-resolution output with rich colour depth and durability for in-store application. The central typographic block anchors the design, while the scattered footwear elements create movement and visual storytelling, transforming the wall into an engaging, lifestyle-driven brand statement that highlights variety, trend, and accessibility.
“The window displays and mural installation received a highly positive response, both from the client and end consumers. The execution was well-appreciated by the Centro team, aligning seamlessly with the brand’s vision of creating a visually engaging and contemporary retail environment,” shares Rawat Jagmohan, Managing Partner & Head of Design - Catalyst Design.
The windows drawing clear attention at the storefront, leading to increased footfall. The strong visual presence encouraged people to pause, interact and explore, translating into increased interest in the store.
