Branding and  design agency Thinkin’Birds Communications Pvt. recently collaborated with architects and interior designers Sonal & Kriti Birdi from Sonal Birdi Design Studio to curate holistic branding for Nagpur based cafe Pours and Plate .

To begin with, the Pours and Plate logo was conceptually designed, reflecting the brand character with a minimalist look and a subtle colour combination that matches the brand's colour palette.

The Pours & Plate name was also curated with an understanding of the concept and overall brand image that the client wanted to convey. The core concept was to create a minimalistic look and design the typography of the logo, packaging, menus, uniforms, merchandise and branding elements in a manner that conveyed the brand and the space’s personality. It included conceptualizing brand elements like custom handmade plates for the wall and quirky typography on the glass.

The cafe’s seating area is indeed a visual treat and the wall along the staircase exhibits a collection of hand-painted plates which illustrate the brand elements.

Bhavik Mehta , Founder of Thinkin’Birds, says, “We take a business and convert it into a brand. It gives a different level of authenticity when your business has a representative value that has been transformed into a brand. With Pours and Plate, we have conceptualized the in store branding in sync with the recent cafe culture.”

Kanha Jaiswal, the Chief Eating Officer says, “Pours and Plate is a space that is appealing to everyone. It is a to-go place for cute little dates along with friends and family getting together. Thinkin’Birds and Sonal Birdi Design Studio have surely brought the cafe’s vision to life.”
