At the onset of Diwali, shopping centres come to life with installations on the theme of light, colours and diyas, signifying festivities, happiness, joy and togetherness. Taking the lead, Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden, celebrated the spirit of victory of truth over evil with a unique replica model of Ram Temple. The largest model ever made, the installation is an unprecedented 32ft in height and 48ft in width.
“Being the embodiment of Chivalry, Truth and Virtue, Lord Rama can be described as a man who displays perfect moral as well as social behaviour. He is a symbol of the victory of good over evil. He characterizes how a man should fulfill his moral commitments so that social order can be maintained and hence is worshipped widely in Indian culture,” said Abhishek Bansal, Executive Director, Pacific Group.
On the occasion of 74th Independence Day, Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden, put up a décor called ‘Wings of Valor’ that featured Rafale installation of a 16ft fighter aircraft suspended from the ceiling. The exhibit gave the feel of fighter aircraft taking off from a runway with tri-color being the backdrop of the runway.
