WAFL aims to open 80 outlets pan-India in 2018

WAFL is planning to have 250 stores pan India within the next three years with a revenue target of 200 crores.

What are your expansion plans for strengthening WAFL footprint in the Indian Market?
We at WAFL are looking to open 50 plus outlets in India by the end of 2018 and around 250 in coming three years. We are working on franchisee model to expand at rapid pace and hopefully going to be present in each state of India by 2020. We are also eyeing the untapped Indian breakfast market as well as the conventional fast food market, by serving foodies trendy food items at most reasonable prices. We are positive that Indian market will like our products, so we are eyeing pan India expansion.
Tell us about the location and area requirement for opening your outlet?
The WAFL outlets will be of 200-250 sft, with a seating capacity of 8 to 16 seats. Along with franchisee stores, we will also come up with our own flagship, company operated stores.
Tell us more about Wafl brand and its network across the world. How many outlets it has in total and how many it is planning to open in India?
Originated from Russia and founded by Konstantin Bazhenov and team of MY BUSINESS Russia, WAFL has over 50 plus QSR outlets all over the world with a strong network in CIS countries. For the Indian market, we are planning to be present in each state of India by 2020. We are targeting 60 crores revenue by the end of this year. In next three years, we are planning to have 250 stores pan India, with a revenue target of 200 crores.
