Arttd'inox Modular Kitchens opens first store in Chennai

Arttd'inox opened its fifth Arttd'inox stainless steel modular kitchen store, in Chennai.  The first for the city, the newest outlet is spread over 1,500 sq.ft and will display a premium range of stainless steel modular kitchens and dinnerware options to choose from for the discerning customers.

The brand's first franchise outlet is divided into two zones, where at one level the brand showcases the kitchens, high-end dinnerware and home décor, and the second level presents soft furnishings such as bed linen, cushions, mirrors, photo frames, wall frames and other interior products from "beau maison” a "French company”. It also has also entered into strategic tie-ups with brands like Siemens and Whirlpool for appliances, Franke for sinks and Hettich for fitments.

Anuj Jain, CEO, Jindal Lifestyle/ Jindal Architecture, said, "Indian kitchens and cooking habits have changed, there is shift in the choice and the kind of kitchens which Indians want. Today, the kitchens need to be sleek, contemporary, stylish, functional and technologically advanced. Hence, this is the need that we will cater to through our 100% stainless steel kitchens.”

He added that the modular kitchen industry today stands at Rs 2,500 crore, and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 45% in the period 2013-18.
