Euroshop & C-Star to showcase the best international solutions and trends in retail

Elke Moebius, Director, Euroshop shared details about Euroshop slated fromÂ 5 - 9 March 2017 at Dusseldorf, Germany and also announced the launch of C-Star, Shanghai's international trade fair for solutions and trends in retail which will be held between May 13 and May 15, 2015.
The session on "Opportunities for Indian Retail Solutions Players at Euroshopâ€ was conducted by Elke Moebius, Director, Euroshop. She is also associated with EuroCIS, InterMopro, InterCool, InterMeat Mediterranean Food. She shared details about Euroshop slated from 5 - 9 March 2017 at Dusseldorf, Germany. Established in 1966, Euroshop boasts of 2229 exhibitors, 116.579 sqm net exhibition space, 109.496 visitors from 100 countries in 2014.
Last year Euroshop had 703 visitors from Indian companies like Raymond Ltd, Shopper's Stop, 3M India, Trent Ltd, Globus, Future Research Design Company, Prologue Retail Solutions, Four Dimensions Retail Design, Aditya Birla Nuva, Hindustan Unilever and Future Group. Visitors from various industrial sectors like trade, industry, architecture/design, stand construction/event agency, IT security industry, advertising agency/graphic designers and others were also present there.
In the APAC region, a new star will be born in May 2015 when C-Star, Shanghai's international trade fair for solutions and trends for retail will be held between May 13 and May 15, 2015. This new fair will have 118 participating companies on 3.662 sqm net space from 21 nations.
Speaking about this, Moebius said, "The concept of C-star is to have exhibition areas in shoplifting, architecture, store design, lighting and refrigerating equipment. It will also address topics like visual merchandising and marketing, display mannequins, retail technology and multichannel solutions, digital signage, stand construction, event and design.â€
There will be a guided retail tour on May 12, 2015, wherein exhibitors will visit shopping malls, food and non-food stores and concept stores. Adding to this, there will be a special Italian lighting lounge which will be a shared event space dedicated to the excellence of Italian companies in the field of indoor and outdoor lighting and industrial design.
There will also be Euroshop Retail Design Awards which is a renowned award presented annually by EHI Retail Institute in collaboration with Messe Dusseldorf for the worldwide best store concepts. For 2015, there are already 80 applications from 23 nations.
