On par with its international stores, Marc Cain recently unveiled its new outlet in South Mumbai that combines simplicity and contemporary design elements to create a pleasant shopping.

Marc Cain, a German-based luxury brand for women's clothing, recently opened its third store in Napean Sea, Mumbai where contrasting design elements blend to create a seamless shopping environment. "We want our customers to experience Marc Cain as a luxury brand, even while browsing through the merchandise. The space invites customers to stay - the perfect ambience to enjoy a relaxed and pleasant shopping experience,” says Punit Agarwal, Owner of Marc Cain, India.
Spread across 2600 sq ft, the store welcomes customers with a large glass façade which has been intentionally created to attract footfalls. At the entrance, the colour story and visual merchandising theme speaks very clearly about the product, which change according to the seasons

The store has been divided into three distinctive zones for customers to experience a seamless shopping experience. The gold, silver and white hues make the store look more bright and open. Also, the colour effects helps to divide the space and an interplay of light and dark, hot and cold, matte and glossy, soft and yet linear: makes the contrasting designs set in a harmonious manner.

The lounge area in the store is equipped with padded furniture covered with a textile in brushed metal appearance as well as shag-pile carpet, all bathed in warm and soft lighting. The space also adorns Italian crystal balls for the perfect ambient lighting. The idea was to create a simplistic yet a pleasant shopping experience.
Taking about the future plan, Puneet states, "We plan to expand our footprint to other metro cities like Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kolkata and Chennai. Our estimated investments for every store will be approximately Rs 3-4 crore, so we have set aside Rs 20 crore for the five stores. Hence, for all the upcoming stores, we plan to implement the same concept which is at par with the international stores of Marc Cain in different parts of the world.”
