Nee & Oink unveil their first flagship store at Kolkata

Nee & Oink, top designers from Kolkata known for their children's wear collection, recently unveiled their flagship store in Jodhpur Park, Kolkata. The co-designers, Neelakshi "Nee” and Oiendrila "Oink” Ray, also expanded their brand by launching women's wear collection.

While speaking with VM&RD on the retail design concept Co-Owner Oiendrila Ray said, "Our logo with the tree and two little owls, resembles a tree which is rooted very strongly and always grows upwards and find new branches. We feel that this is the base of our brand. We are very much rooted and look for designing classic collection. This tree at the middle of the store is a very significant highlight for our brand. We took about six months to complete the store.”

Further Neelakshi added, "What we wanted to do is to marry the funky nature of our brand with the quite setting of this location, where our customers can come and check out the collection. So we worked with Kaushik Saha, the interior designer who fused these two objectives brilliantly.” 

On the apparel, co-owner Oiendrila said, "Our small world just got bigger with the launch of our adult wear.” Neelakshi added, "When we design, our hope is that the pieces you pick up will be a part of your collections for a very long time, and you will keep coming back to us for more”.
